Was ist eine Produktionslinie?

Eine Produktionslinie, oft als Fertigungslinie bezeichnet, ist ein wichtiges Konzept in der Industrie und Handel, insbesondere in der Stahlproduktion und dem Stahlhandel. Sie bezeichnet den standardisierten Prozess, bei dem Rohstoffe, in diesem Fall Stahl, step by step verarbeitet und in ein Endprodukt umgewandelt werden.

Wie funktioniert eine Produktionslinie?

Eine Produktionslinie funktioniert immer nach einem festgelegten Schema. In der Stahlproduktion beginnt dies üblicherweise mit der Beschaffung des Raw Materials, also des Eisenerzes. Im nächsten Schritt wird das Eisen zu Stahl veredelt. Das geschieht durch Zugabe von Kohlenstoff und anderen Elementen. Nach dem Veredelungsprozess folgt die Gestaltung des Stahls. Hier wird der Stahl in die gewünschte Form gebracht. Dazu können zum Beispiel Bleche, Rohre oder Profile gehören. Dann folgt die Qualitätskontrolle. Hier wird geprüft, ob der Stahl den Qualitätsstandards entspricht. Schließlich wird der fertige Stahl zur Nutzung oder zum Weiterverkauf verpackt und versendet.
