Bending oder zu Deutsch Biegen spielt eine entscheidende Rolle in der Produktion und im Handel mit Stahl. Es handelt sich dabei um einen Prozess, bei dem Stahl durch Druck oder Zug in bestimmte Formen gebracht wird. Das Biegen wird in verschiedenen Bereichen eingesetzt, zum Beispiel bei der Herstellung von Rohren, Brücken und Gebäuden.
Typen des Bending in der Stahlproduktion
Es gibt verschiedene Arten des Biegens, die in der Stahlproduktion zur Anwendung kommen. Das Freiform-Biegen kommt etwa zur Anwendung, wenn der Stahl in sehr spezifische oder komplexe Formen gebracht werden soll. Beim Ringbiegen hingegen wird der Stahl ringförmig gebogen, was bei der Produktion von Rohren wichtig ist. Andere Typen sind das Dreipunkt-Biegen und das Biegen mit Matrize, bei dem eine Vorlage zur Hilfe genommen wird.
Methoden zum Biegen von Stahl
Für das Biegen von Stahl gibt es verschiedene Methoden. Eine davon ist das Kaltbiegen. Dabei wird der Stahl bei Zimmertemperatur gebogen. Diese Methode wird häufig für dünne Stahlbleche verwendet. Beim Warmbiegen hingegen wird der Stahl durch Hitze weicher gemacht, wodurch sich auch dickere und härtere Stahlbleche biegen lassen.
Der Vorteil von Bending in der Stahlbranche
Das Biegen von Stahl ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil im Stahlhandel und in der Stahlproduktion. Durch das Biegen kann der Stahl vielseitig eingesetzt und an diverse Anforderungen angepasst werden. Durch den Biegeprozess lässt sich der Stahl also optimal an die spezifischen Bedürfnisse von Kunden und Projekten anpassen. Somit trägt das Bending maßgeblich zur Vielseitigkeit von Stahl bei.
